Win one of five round-trips to Vancouver with Harbour Air!
As part of our fundraising efforts during our 50th anniversary, we are grateful to our volunteer and donor, James for the gift of these trips and to Harbour Air for generously providing sponsorship.
Raffle Prizes:
Tickets will be available for sale starting June 4 and closes on July 2, 2025. There’s two draw dates:
- Early Bird Draw: June 19 at 10 a.m.
- three separate draws to win one of three (3) pairs of Harbour Air trips from Victoria to South Vancouver (Richmond).
- Value: $99 one-way per ticket = $198 round-trip.*
- Final Draw: July 3 at 10 a.m.
- two separate draws to win one of two (2) pairs of Harbour Air trips from Victoria to Vancouver Harbour (Coal Harbour).
- Value: $98 per one-way ticket = $198 per round-trip.*
*Or two separate one-way trips in either direction. All trip tickets must be used by December 31, 2025.
Raffle Ticket Price & Purchase Info:
Raffle tickets are $25 each.
Payment options include: cash (exact amount; in-person only), personal cheque (made out to James Bay Community Project) or e-transfer.
E-transfers can be sent to accounts@jbcp.bc.ca with “raffle” and your full name and email address in the message/memo field of your e-transfer. This helps us contact you and issue your ticket(s) promptly.
If you’re unable to include your info in the e-transfer message, please forward your e-transfer confirmation email with your contact info to “accounts@jbcp.bc.ca” right after your transfer, confirming your name and how many tickets you purchased. Thank you for supporting the James Bay Community Project!
- In person purchase: we will be able to issue a raffle ticket as soon as we’ve received the confirmation email on our end.
- If you send an e-transfer outside of our operating hours: please allow 1-2 business days for us to issue your raffle ticket (pending accurate contact info).
Draw Information & Rules
BC Gaming License #162899.
200 raffle tickets are available. With a total of five prizes, chances of winning are 1 in 40. Actual odds will depend on the number of tickets sold.
Buyers must be at least 19 years of age or older.
All payment transactions must take place in BC.
BC residents may not purchase any raffle tickets on behalf of non-BC residents with the intent to distribute prizes outside of BC.
A non-resident of BC may purchase entry into a gaming event if the entire payment transaction takes place while the person is in BC. A receipt and applicable proof of entry must be provided at the time of purchase.
No tickets may be purchased by the Board of Directors or staff members of the James Bay Community Project, nor any direct family members (living in the same household).
Raffle tickets are not eligible for a charitable tax receipt as per the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA).
The winner is not required to be present at the time of the draw. The winning ticket must be verified before a prize can be awarded. The winner consents to the release of their name.
If the person with a winning ticket does not claim their prize within ten (10) calendar days, a new ticket will be drawn.
JBCP will not sell, rent or exchange any personal information collected from this raffle.
