Victoria Better at Home

Better at Home (BAH) is a BC government funded program which is administered by the United Way of BC. The James Bay Community Project and Capital City Volunteers deliver Better at Home funded programs in Victoria and Oak Bay.

Better at Home programs help seniors with simple non-medical, day-to-day tasks so that they can continue to live independently in their own homes and remain connected to their communities.

To receive Better at Home services you must first become a participant with either the James Bay Community Project or Capital City Volunteers. Some services are offered free of charge, while others may have a fee based on a sliding scale.

For more information please contact the Better at Home Coordinator at betterathome@jbcp.bc.ca or phone 250 388 7844, Ext. 334.
