Digital Dive-In is our FREE tech education program for older adults. An IT Specialist can help participants learn about more about computers and portable technology including smart phones, tablets/iPad or laptops.
Computer literacy skills can help elders become more confident in using portable technology so they can:
- stay in touch with family & friends
- maintain independence (using maps on a laptop to get around town)
- build up resilience though learning something new
Everything About Email
Date: Monday, January 16th
Time: 1:00 p.m. – 4 p.m. (three hour session)
Learn about email – everything from how to send a photograph to recognizing spam and fake emails. Most people’s security breaches come through email or text. This in-person session will take place at our community centre.
Free! Registration required. Space is limited to six participants.
