Bridging The Digital Divide offers free digital literacy sessions to older adults, seniors and elders who would like to learn more about using portable devices: smart phones, tablets and laptops.
Building digital literacy skills can help with:
- develop confidence in using portable devices
- keeping in touch with family & friends
- maintaining independence (e.g.: using an online map for errands; scheduling appointments; prescription refills and more)
- build up resilience and brain health though learning something new
All questions and levels of experience welcome. We can also help you determine which portable device or apps would be best suited for your specific needs. Please register in advance to attend.
Future group work sessions include:
- how to identify scams
- how to keep your personal information safe
