Summer often sees a drop in blood donations due to people going away on vacation but the need for blood is constant for those facing cancer treatment, surgery, accidents and many other situations that require blood products.
On Monday, July 22, the Canadian Blood Services is hosting a blood drive at the Victoria Conference Centre – just a hop, skip and a jump away from the James Bay neighbourhood!
There’s currently 30+ appointments open for this Monday – but feel free to book any time that works for you.
Plus, anyone who just books an appointment during the month of July will be eligible for a $10 voucher to Baan Thai!
Booking ahead is ideal but same-day appointments will be accommodated to the best of their ability.
