The Community Closet is a hidden gem in the heart of the James Bay neighbourhood. Our social enterprise* is restocked daily with much-loved apparel – from casual and every day to semi-formal wear – for all sizes and genders.

*🤔 What’s a “social enterprise”?
Simply put, a social enterprise is a commercial business that makes money for a social good.
All profits from the Closet (after expenses) goes towards our year-round programs and services for families on a low income, vulnerable youth and seniors facing isolation.
As a neighbourhood house, the James Bay Community Project provides support that speaks to the needs of the immediate community so that people can build up their resiliency.
Resiliency plays an important role for everyone’s well-being so we can enjoy our lives more fully and continue to be there for the people we love. 💛
