Much thanks for your understanding and patience while we worked with the City of Victoria to repair a leak on the JBCP property.
Regular access to the building has now been restored.
The remaining work to fill the hole of the repair site will be completed on September 14.

A significant water leak has been discovered on the Powell Street side of the JBCP property due to damage to underground pipes from tree roots.
To facilitate the repairs, JBCP has been granted a permit to remove the tree which is scheduled for September 11. In lieu of a replacement tree due to site restraints, a nearby cherry tree will be nominated for protection.*
The repair work scheduled on Wednesday, September 13 will impact some of our programs and the use of our building**:
- The Family Resource Centre playgroup will be closed.
- On-site appointments with JBCP or CCV staff will be rescheduled to another date.
However, our off-site activities will still run as scheduled:
