James Bay Community Project’s Youth and Family Outreach Worker provides support, information, referrals, parent-teen mediation and mentoring. We can assist with navigating systems, setting goals, and advocacy. Our ultimate goal is helping families build strengths and resilience.
Services are available to youth 13-19 years old and their families. We are focused on working with families living in James Bay, Fairfield, Oak Bay and Downtown.
Our Youth and Family Outreach Worker, Janessa Bate, can be reached at 250.388.7844, Ext. 314 or at jbate@jbcp.bc.ca
The James Bay Community Project’s Youth Clinic also has an Outreach Worker for youth ages 12-24 years old who are at risk for poor health outcomes due to homelessness, poverty, mental health concerns and addictions. The Clinic’s Outreach Worker is Sara Gifford. She can be reached at 250.818.0897 or at outreach@victoriayouthclinic.ca.
