Profits raised by our thrift store go directly back into funding community programs at James Bay Community Project. The Community Closet stocks high quality clothing for women and men – including well known labels – at a fraction of the usual cost. Enjoy shopping for fashionable bargains while helping to support our community programs.

DONATIONS
We welcome donations of good quality, gently used clothing. Clothing donations can be dropped off at the store at the above address during store hours, or at the James Bay Community Project at 547 Michigan Street between 8.00 am and 4.00 pm

VOLUNTEERING

Free bread today

Bread is available on Tuesdays from 10.00 a.m. and on Fridays from 10.30 a.m. Half of the bread supply will be put out in the mornings and the rest after lunch. Generously donated by Cob’s Bread and Thrifty Foods. WE ASK THAT YOU TAKE ONLY 1 OR 2 ITEMS PER PERSON.

The Victoria Youth Clinic is part of the James Bay Community Project and provides health education and support for youth aged 12 – 24. Other health service providers, who are independent of JBCP, are housed in the building.
